The Blue Sea Systems USB Charger brings reliable, modern device charging to any boat's helm or cabin without compromising the integrity of your onboard electrical system. Engineered specifically for the marine environment, this charger is built to withstand the vibration, moisture, and temperature swings that are part of everyday life on the water. Its compact, panel-mount design fits neatly into dash layouts alongside other Blue Sea Systems switches and accessories, giving boat owners a clean, integrated look while adding genuine functionality for charging phones, tablets, handheld GPS units, and other USB-powered devices right from the helm.
Constructed with marine-grade materials, the charger features a waterproof and corrosion-resistant housing that seals out salt spray and humidity, both common threats to electronics aboard any vessel. Internally, it includes smart circuitry that regulates voltage and current to protect connected devices from power surges or fluctuations typical of a boat's 12V or 24V DC electrical system. The dual USB ports allow simultaneous charging, which is especially useful during long days on the water when multiple crew members need to keep their devices powered for navigation, communication, or entertainment. Its efficient design also minimizes parasitic battery drain, helping preserve your house battery bank during extended trips or while docked.
Installation is straightforward, designed with the DIY boater in mind, and compatible with Blue Sea Systems' broader lineup of electrical panels and accessories, making it easy to integrate into a new or existing marine electrical setup. Whether you're upgrading a center console, sailboat cabin, or offshore cruiser, this USB charger delivers dependable power access without sacrificing the rugged durability marine electronics demand.
